What's the deal with Holland Home?
Information
There are 5 workstations at Holland Home. One teacher station and four student stations. These stations are not on the GRCC Network, however, each can be remoted by a full-time staff member of either Desktop Support or the Support Desk using Splashtop.
A specialty image named "Remote Lab" is deployed on the machines, and the credentials used for logging in are local to each machine.
There are two user profiles:
- GRCCStudent: Remote4GRCC!
- There is a note on the computer with the credentials
- The passphrase (password) should not expire
- GRCCAdmin (see full time staff for credentials)
If the passphrase expires on the student account it prompts to update it. The passphrase can technically be changed by anyone to anything. If necessary, it can be reset using the admin account.
