Printing to a Ricoh Printer from a Campus Computer

Issue

A document needs to be printed from a campus computer to the Ricoh printers.

Environment

  • Windows & macOS
  • PaperCut
  • Ricoh Multifunction Printers

Resolution

1. Sending the Print Job

  1. Open the document you would like to print and select Print (typically File > Print or the printer icon).
  2. Select the appropriate printer queue:
    • Find_Me_Gray_Ricoh: For black and white documents.
    • Find_Me_Color_Ricoh: For color documents.
  3. Wait for the PaperCut Print Job Notification window to appear.
    • If it doesn't appear: Check your system tray (bottom right on Windows) for the PaperCut icon. If the icon is missing, PaperCut may not be running or installed; check the Software Center to install/restart it.
  4. Select the account to charge: Choose between your personal account or a shared department account.
