Class Assignments not Appearing in Canvas

Issue

A student is unable to see assignments in Canvas or can see assignments but receives a message stating they do not have appropriate permissions to access them.

Information

Canvas Administrators (including IT Support) can verify whether content is present and viewable in the folders but are unable to update permissions on behalf of the instructor.

Resolution

Communicate with the instructor to make sure proper permissions are granted.
