How do I request Canvas API access?

  • Canvas LMS

Answer

To request Canvas API access, submit the Canvas API Access Request Form.

Once the form is submitted:

  • Your supervisor will automatically receive a notification requesting approval
  • After supervisor approval, the request will be reviewed by IT
  • If approved, IT will provision the appropriate level of access (Personal Access Token or Developer Key)
