Registrar - Support Professional - Part time

Responsible for administrative support of Registrar office leadership team, Commencement, and position searches.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Associate Registrars (emails and phone messages).
  • Schedule department meetings and interviews for office searches.
  • Hire and schedule student employees.
  • Take minutes for department and college meetings as assigned.
  • Take minutes and schedule Commencement planning meetings. Support the planning deadlines by coordinating communications, due dates, and keep planning document up to date.
  • Manage and assign tickets in Team Dynamix
  • Assist with transcript processing
  • Assist with awarding transfer credit
  • Assist with degree conferrals
  • Respond to student, staff, and faculty questions and concerns. Escalate issues to the appropriate
  • Registrar position if additional expertise is needed.
  • Review updates in EAB Navigate and triage issues for registration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Follow College policy on the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA).

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Skills

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior customer service or administrative work required.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and faculty team.
  • Proficiency in using instructional technology and learning management systems (e.g.,Gmail, Canvas, Blackboard)

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours (i.e. evenings and night) including occasional weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that calls for flexibility/adaptability and the ability to handle multiple interruptions and make quick decisions.
