Student or Staff is unable to open a document in Google Drive
Environment
Information
The user is given an error of "You need access, Open the documents directly to see if requesting access is possible, or switch to an account with access." even when access has been confirmed in Google Drive to be correct
Resolution
The instructor will need to go to the link within Blackboard and update the field Open Link with to New Window.
Cause
Blackboard is unable to reach Google Drive, and as a result, it stops the process due to security reasons.
