No Microphone detected

Issue

No Microphone detected in Zoom.

Environment

  • Zoom

Information

User cannot use the Microphone in Zoom.

Resolution

Perform the following actions while the user is logged in:

  1. Right-click on the Sound icon located down in the system tray by the clock.
  2. Select Open Sound settings.
  3. Click on Manage sound devices under the Input section.
  4. Click on the Microphone Array.
  5. Click on Enable.
