Sharing a Google Drive document in Blackboard

Question

How to share a link from Google Drive with students in Blackboard. 

 

Environment

  • Google Drive
  • Blackboard

 

Answer

  1. Right click on the item in Google Drive. 
  2. Select Share. 
  3. Under General access, click on the carrot next to Restricted or Grand Rapids Community College and change to Anyone with the link.

 

Information

Students are on a different domain (@email.grcc.edu) then GRCC faculty and staff (@grcc.edu). Any content created and/or stored in Google Drive will need to be made available to anyone so students can view it.
