Saving Google Gemini Conversations

Information

Beginning November 16, 2026, Google Gemini conversation history will be retained for 90 days instead of 18 months.

Conversations without activity for more than 90 days will be automatically deleted. If you have important information in older conversations that you would like to keep, you should save it.

As a Grand Rapids Community College staff member, to save your Gemini conversations you will need to export the individual conversation to Google Docs.

Environment

  • Google Gemini
  • Google Workspace
  • Google Docs/Drive
