Question
How do I navigate and use the updated Faculty Center in the Online Center?
Environment
Information
The Faculty Center has been updated to use a newer, more modern interface. The updated Faculty Center provides faculty with easier navigation and a more consistent experience across computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
Although the appearance and navigation of the Faculty Center have changed, faculty will continue to use it for many of the same activities, including:
The updated interface primarily changes how faculty navigate to these functions. It does not change faculty access to their assigned courses or the underlying student and course information available in PeopleSoft.

What Has Changed?
The primary change is the look, feel, and navigation of the Faculty Center.
Faculty who previously used the classic Faculty Center may notice that:
-
Navigation options are now available from a menu on the left side of the page.
-
Class and roster information is presented using the updated PeopleSoft Fluid interface.
-
Faculty no longer need to rely on the icons previously displayed next to individual classes to access common functions.
-
Pages are designed to work more consistently across different screen sizes and devices.
-
Grade Roster and other commonly used faculty functions are available directly from the Faculty Center navigation.
While the location of some options has changed, the underlying faculty functions and information remain largely the same.
Additional Information
The Faculty Center update is a change to the PeopleSoft user interface and navigation. Faculty course assignments, student enrollment information, and access are not changed as a result of the new interface.
Faculty should continue to use the Faculty Center for official class roster and final grade information.
Faculty using Canvas may also use Grade Passback to import final grades from Canvas into the Faculty Center. Grade Passback is optional, and grades may still be entered manually.
For additional information about Grade Passback, see How to Use Grade Passback (opens in a new window).
