How to turn on desktop notifications in Google Calendar

Process

  1. Open Google Calendar (opens in a new window)
  2. Click the Settings gear icon
  3. Click Settings
  4. Under General, click Notification settings
  5. Click on the dropdown for Notifications and select Desktop Notifications
    • Additionally, Play notification sounds can be check marked
