The FERPA Authorization service allows students to grant, modify, or revoke permissions regarding the release of their confidential educational records under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). By submitting this authorization, students specify exactly which third parties—such as parents, spouses, or legal guardians—may discuss or access designated records, including academic performance, financial aid, billing, and disciplinary history.

Requirements
Hold for approvers
- Valid Student ID number and primary contact details
- Full legal name, relationship, and contact information for each designated third party
- Personal security code or PIN designated by the student for identity verification during inquiries
