TI-SmartView - Named User Licensing

Overview

Texas Instruments now uses a named user licensing model to access their products. This means TI-SmartView now requires the creation of an account prior to using the software. Instructors in the Mathematics department will be added to the licensing portal. New instructors can be added by submitting a ticket request here

Process

  • Instructors will receive a welcome email from Texas Instruments from noreply@edtech-mail.ti.com
  • The email provides instructions on how to accept the invitation and create an account
  • Once an account has been created, instructors will use these credentials to log in to TI-SmartView on classroom computers and their GRCC staff computers

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I allowed to install the software on a personal computer? Yes! One of the great things about named user licensing is that it allows you access to the software from anywhere, as the licensing is tied to a specific user instead of a device.
