Issue
A classroom projector is not displaying anything or is not showing the intended source from the multimedia rack/podium.
Environment
Resolution
- Reboot the computer if the projector output differs from the instructor monitor.
- Check if the projector is powered on. Look for light from the lens (do not look directly into the light).
- If there is no light, toggle the Display OFF and ON. It may take a few minutes to warm up or cool down.
- Ensure the AV MUTE button is not active.
- Look for a solid green indicator light on the projector. Any other color may indicate a sleep state or hardware error.
- Switch to a different source on the control panel, then switch back to your desired source.
- Verify that all video cables are connected securely.
- If using a laptop, use Function + F4 or Windows + P to toggle display settings. Ensure Extend or Duplicate is selected.
