Using Microsoft Edge IE Compatibility Mode

Question

How do I turn on Microsoft Edge IE Compatibility Mode?

Information

Microsoft will be ending support on Internet Explorer 11 beginning June 15, 2022

 

Answer

  1. Launch Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click on the ellipses in the upper right.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Default Browser from the left-hand menu.
    • If menu is hidden, click the horizontal bars  next to Settings.
  5. Change the Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode setting to allow. 
  6. Select the blue Restart button.
  7. Open the desired page in Edge.
  8. Right-click on the tab.
  9. Click Reload tab in Internet Explorer Mode.
  10. If desired, select Open this page in Internet Explorer mode next time from the pop up.
  11. Click Done​​​​​​​.
