Where can I locate an email once has been archived?

Information
The easiest way to view archived emails within Gmail is to search for them. If you know any information about the email (sender, subject, approximate date received, etc) it will be easiest to use the advanced search function by clicking the down arrow in the search box. Additionally, you can see any archived mail under the All Mail label from the navigation pane on the left hand side. However, this will show all mail including what is located in specific labels and what is in the inbox as well as anything that has been archived.
Resolution
To view only archived messages
- Click the Search mail text box at the top
- Type in:archive
