How do I update my phone number in the GRCC Rave Alert system?

Information

GRCC automatically creates Rave accounts for students and employees using contact information from the Online Center.

Answer

You can update your contact information in one of two ways.

Option 1: Update Your Information in the Online Center

Update your phone number in the Online Center. Changes are typically synchronized to Rave Alert within 24 hours.

Option 2: Update Your Information Directly in Rave

  1. Sign in at the GRCC Rave Login page.
  2. Open your account settings.
  3. Update your phone number and save your changes.

Important

Changes made directly in Rave take precedence over information stored in the Online Center.

For example, if you update your mobile phone number in Rave Alert, future synchronizations from the Online Center will not overwrite that number unless the phone number in both systems matches.

This allows you to manage your Rave contact information and notification preferences independently of the Online Center.
