How to Respond to TeamDynamix Approvals

Information

When a ticket or project request requires your sign-off, TeamDynamix generates an Approval Step. As an approver, you have the authority to either approve the request to move it forward or reject it if more information or changes are needed. This article guides you through locating and completing your pending approvals from the Client Portal or directly from your email notification.

  • TeamDynamix Client Portal

Process

You can approve or reject a step either directly from the email notification you received or by logging into the Client Portal.

Method 1: From the Email Notification

  1. Open the approval notification in your GRCC email (opens in a new window).
  2. Navigate to the bottom of the email and click the hyperlink labeled Approve or Reject this Workflow Step.
  3. If prompted, log in with your institutional credentials.
  4. Review the details of the request on the page that opens.
  5. Click the Approve or Reject button located on the page.
  6. In the pop-up window, enter any optional or required comments.
  7. Click Save or Submit to finalize your decision.

Method 2: From the Client Portal

  1. Navigate to the Client Portal (opens in a new window) and log in.
  2. Click on Services in the top navigation bar.
  3. In the sub-navigation menu below the top bar, click on My Approvals.
  4. Look through the list of pending items and click on the Title of the request you need to review.
  5. Carefully review the ticket details, attachments, and history.
  6. Click the Approve or Reject button.
  7. Fill in the comments box with any relevant feedback.
  8. Click Save to submit your response. The system will automatically update the ticket status and notify the next person in the workflow.
