Users can not print to the Shared Office Printer.

Environment

  • Konica Minolta desktop printers 4000i
Info: Note: These are not related to the large MFPs, but the small desktop printers. There are still a few around campus but not covered by any service contract.

Networking changes on a Konica 4000i

Resolution

To disable the WiFi per the online manual instructions:

  1. Press up or down to select the [Network] option, and then press OK.
  2. Press up or down to select the [WLAN] option, and then press OK.
  3. Press up or down to select the [WPS] option, and then press OK.
  4. When [WLAN Enable?] appears, press the down arrow to select Off.

To enable Wired per printer physical menus:

  1. Press up or down to select the [Network] option, and then press OK.
  2. Press up or down to select the [Wired LAN] option, and then press OK.
  3. Press up or down to select the [Wired Enable] option, and then press OK.
  4. When [WLAN Enable] appears, press the up arrow to select On.

To see the active connection on the printer via the wired connection:

  1. Press up or down to select the [Network] option, and then press OK.
  2. Press up or down to select the [Wired Status] option, and then press OK.
  3. The display should show the Active Connection information: 'Active 1000B-FD'
