Logging off Omnissa Horizon (VMWare)

Information

In order to keep up with the demands and usage of the Omnissa Horizon (VMWare) environment, please make sure to disconnect and log off when it is not in use. Doing so will ensure our resources are available for our entire campus community and allows the environment to load as fast as possible for the next user.

Environment

  • Omnissa Horizon (VMWare)
  • Internet Browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc)

Process

Logging out of the Horizon app

  1. Click See more in the top right hand corner. 
  2. Select Disconnect 
  3. Click OK when asked Disconnect desktop? 
  4. Close the window

Logging out via web/browser

  1. Find and click the tab in the middle of the left-hand side of the screen
  2. In the pop-out menu, click the Open Menu button  (4th button at the top)
  3. Click Log out
  4. Click OK to confirm
