How do I determine if a class has a waitlist?

Waitlist information can be found within the MyGRCC portal or by using the Class Search feature in PeopleSoft.

Answer

Follow these steps to check for a waitlist:

  1. Log into your MyGRCC portal (opens in a new window).
    • If you do not have a MyGRCC login, you can create an account.
    • Returning students (absent for more than two years) should review the Returning Students webpage. Returning Guest Students must submit a new application for each semester of attendance.
  2. Select the GRCC Online Center button.
  3. Select the Add/Drop Classes link.
  4. Select Class Search and Enroll, then choose the upcoming semester.
  5. Type the class prefix and course number (e.g., "EN 101") in the Search for Classes field, then click the arrow.
  6. Look at the left-hand navigation menu under Class Status. If the Wait List Classes filter option appears, it indicates that at least one section of that course currently has a waitlist available.
