Body
Issue
Student is encountering errors or "not available" messages when attempting to access the Academic Progress tile in the Online Center. This often prevents students from submitting Financial Aid appeals or tracking degree requirements.
Common Error: "The Academic Requirements report is not available."
Environment
- Online Center (Campus Solutions)
Information
The standard Academic Progress Report typically becomes active once the current semester officially begins. If a student is checking between semesters or has recently changed their program, the tile may show as unavailable.
Resolution
1. Initial Troubleshooting
Before attempting a workaround, ensure the issue isn't caused by browser data or enrollment status:
2. Workaround: Pull a "What-If" Report
If the standard report remains unavailable, students can generate the same data by creating a What-If Report. This fulfills the requirement for Financial Aid appeals.
- Click on the Academic Progress tile (ignore the message stating it is unavailable).
- From the left-hand navigation menu, select View What-if Report.
- Click the Create New Report button.
- Ensure the drop-down menus reflect the student's current (or intended) Academic Program and Catalog Year.
- Click Submit to generate the report.
