Issue
A user needs to perform a full anti-virus scan on their Windows system.
Environment
- Windows 10/11
- Windows Security
Instructions
- Open the Start Menu.
- Scroll through the applications list and select Windows Security.
- Select Virus & threat protection from the dashboard.
- Select Scan options located under the "Current threats" section.
- Choose the radio button for Full scan.
- Select Scan now to begin the process.
Info: Reporting Results: The scan can run in the background while you continue your work. Please report any scan alerts to the IT Support Desk immediately by calling (616) 234-4357 or emailing
