Description
Retired GRCC faculty and staff are eligible to request their email account be converted to an @retiree.grcc.edu to retain communication with the college. Users data will be migrated back and forth as their retirement status with the college may change (many of our former employee's love returning to work for GRCC in some capacity, because of this your account and data will follow you).
This service is available for all previously retired GRCC faculty and staff, in addition to any future retiree's. To request a retiree email account, simply contact Human Resources to intitiate the process. Human Resource will work with GRCC IT to create your account.
Standard Service and Features
- Users @grcc.edu email account will be converted to @retiree.grcc.edu
- An alias will be applied to the retiree account ensuring all emails received by their @grcc.edu account are received
- Data from @grcc.edu account will be migrated to @retiree.grcc.edu
- Should the retired employee return to GRCC as an employee, email account will be migrated back to @grcc.edu.
Eligibility
- Must be retired or retiring from GRCC as defined as state-eligible for retirement
- Request for a retiree account must be initiated by Human Resources
