Logging in and out of the Cisco IP Phones

Question

How do I log in or out of a Cisco IP phone?

Environment

• Cisco IP Phones

Resolution

Log In Using Username

1. Press the Services button on the phone.
2. Select Extension Mobility.
3. Enter in your Campus Network Username for the UserID.
4. Use the pin supplied to you by Telecommunications.
5. The screen will display "Requesting..." and will go blank for a second. It will log you in  after a few seconds and your name will appear in the top right corner of the screen.

Log In Using Extension

1. Press the Services button on the phone.
2. Select Login Using Extension
3. Enter your 4 Digit Extension
4. Use the pin supplied to you by Telecommunications
5. The screen will display "Requesting..." and will go blank for a second. It will log you in  after a few seconds and your name will appear in the top right corner of the screen.

Logging Out

1. Press the Services button on the phone.
2. Select Extension Mobility.
3. Select Yes to log out of the phone.
