Understanding Sample Schedules
The sample schedule shown below is an example of how courses may be arranged during a semester. It is designed to give a general sense of:
- When evening classes may be scheduled at GRCC
- How to structure class time for online classes
- How online and in-person courses can be balanced
This schedule is for illustration purposes only. Actual course schedules may vary by program, semester, and course availability.
Understanding Online vs. Scheduled Courses
In this example:
- MA 115 – Math Essentials for Statistics is shown with one specific meeting time
- This style of class has both in-person AND online components
- CIS 123, CIS 210, CIS 110, and CIS 270 do not have fixed meeting times
- These types of courses are online only
The times shown for online courses are suggested time blocks. These are included to demonstrate how participants might choose to structure their evenings and stay on track with coursework.
Planning Your Time
Even when courses are online, participants should plan regular time to complete assignments, review materials, and stay engaged.
Using a schedule like this can help participants:
- Build consistent study habits
- Balance coursework with work or family responsibilities
- Stay organized throughout the semester
Important Notes
- This schedule is only an example and does not represent a guaranteed course lineup
- Course availability, formats (online or in-person), and meeting times may change
- Some courses listed may not be offered every semester
Participants should always confirm their actual schedule through official GRCC systems and with their advisor.
Using This as a Planning Tool
This example can be used as a reference when:
- Exploring FutureTech program options
- Preparing for evening coursework
- Discussing expectations with community partners
It is meant to help participants visualize how their time may be structured and how different types of courses fit into a weekly routine.
