Summary

FutureTech offers specialized financial aid to help remove barriers to education. These funds supplement GRCC’s regular financial aid programs and are available to eligible students in approved FutureTech pathways.

Body

Tuition Aid (FutureTech-Funded)

What it is: Helps cover part or all of your tuition costs for approved FutureTech participants. Funds are applied via standard financial aid processes..

How it works (last-dollar): Tuition aid is applied after your federal, state, and other GRCC aid are considered to cover any remaining tuition gap.

Eligibility: Students enrolled in FutureTech programs who demonstrate financial need.

What you should do:

  • Start at least 2 weeks before tuition is due.
  • Complete required forms and submit any requested documentation.

Book Aid (FutureTech-Funded)

What it is: Funding for textbooks and required course materials, typically provided as a bookstore voucher or applied to your student account. Voucher will be provided by Financial Aid & Scholarships.

Important notes:

What you should do:

  • Request book aid after registering for classes.
  • Provide your course schedule and required materials list.
  • Pick up your voucher or confirm that funds are applied before purchase.

Wraparound Support Aid
(Typically provided through GRCC Get Help)

What it is: General basic needs support such as gas or grocery cards, technology needs, or other essentials that help you stay enrolled.

Eligibility: Students with urgent needs affecting attendance or program completion.

What you should do:

  • GRCC GetHelp will reach out to discuss your needs and situation.
  • Share basic information about your situation and the type of support that would help you remain enrolled.
  • Follow up to confirm when and how support will be provided.
