MND hold

Information

MND holds are placed on the students' accounts based on their tests scores. They need to take PY 100 if:

• the ALEKS aggregate score is ranging from 0 to 13.

OR

• the English score placed them in ARW 100.

Process

Students must see an advisor to register for classes. To schedule an appointment:

• call 616 234 3900, option 6.
• text 616 404 0044.
• online through Navigate (Watch a brief video on how to schedule an appointment.)

A registration hold will remain on their record until their complete PY 100 with a C- or higher.

If the ALEKS score caused the hold placement, students have an option to retake the test up to five times.

Before each attempt:

• finish the Learning Modules (three or five hour modules depending on which attempt you are on).
• wait at least 48 hours between the attempts.
