What do I do if I want to re-enroll for a class that I withdraw from but I can't?
Body
Re-enrolling in a Withdrawn Course
Question
What do I do if I want to re-enroll in a class that I have already withdrawn from (resulting in a "W" grade), but the system is preventing me from registering?
Answer
If you have a "W" grade on your transcript for a course and wish to re-enroll in that same course during the same or a subsequent semester, the online registration system may block the transaction to prevent accidental duplication.
How to Request Re-enrollment
To resolve this, you must contact the Office of the Registrar for manual registration assistance. Please send an email from your official GRCC student email account to officeoftheregistrar@grcc.edu with the following details:
- Subject Line: Re-enrollment Request - [Your Full Name]
- Student ID: Your 7-digit GRCC ID number.
- Course Details: The course name and the four-digit section number (e.g., EN 101, Section 1234).
- Explanation: A brief statement confirming your intent to re-enroll in the course you previously withdrew from.
Note: Re-enrollment is subject to seat availability in the requested section and any applicable tuition payment deadlines.
