How do I enroll in ARW 100 and EN 101 together?

Information

Students who place into ARW 100 must enroll in specific sections of EN 101 that are designed to link with ARW 100. These paired sections are always 14-week courses and must be added to your shopping cart together to successfully enroll.

Answer

To find and register for the correct corresponding sections, follow these steps:

1. Log into your MyGRCC account and select the Online Center tile.
2. Select the Add/Drop Classes tile.
3. Select Class Search and Enroll and then select the appropriate term.
4. Type EN 101 in the search bar and click the arrow to search. Note: Do not click on the specific course results yet.
5. Before selecting a course from the results, look at the filter menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
6. Scroll down the left-hand menu to the Class Attribute section and check the box for EN 101/EN101 paired with ARW100.
7. The number of available EN 101 options will decrease. Click on EN 101 now; it will only display the versions that are compatible with ARW 100.
8. Follow the standard registration steps (opens in a new window) to add your chosen EN 101 section to your Shopping Cart.
9. Once EN 101 is in your cart, perform a new search for ARW 100 and add the corresponding section to your cart.
10. Navigate to your Shopping Cart, select the checkboxes for both ARW 100 and EN 101, and click the Enroll button to finalize your registration.
