Body

Dropping Corequisite Courses After Non-Attendance

Question

I was dropped from EN 101 due to non-attendance. Why can't I drop ARW 100?

Environment

  • GRCC Online Center

Information

This situation applies to all corequisite classes (courses that must be taken together). When a student is dropped from the main course (e.g., EN 101) for non-attendance, the system may prevent the student from manually dropping the linked corequisite (e.g., ARW 100) through the Online Center to ensure academic record integrity.

Answer

To drop the remaining corequisite course, you must submit a formal request to the Office of the Registrar.

How to Submit Your Request

  • Email: Send your request to officeoftheregistrar@grcc.edu.
  • Requirement: You must use your official GRCC student email address for all correspondence with the Registrar to verify your identity.
  • Details to Include: In your email, include your full name, student ID number, and the specific course (e.g., ARW 100) you need to have removed.
