ESL Hold Removal Process
Question
Can the ESL (English as a Second Language) hold be removed from my account?
Answer
To discuss the removal of an ESL hold, you must contact your assigned Academic Advisor directly. Your advisor will review your placement scores or academic progress to determine if the hold can be lifted.
How to Find Your Advisor's Contact Information
You can locate your advisor's name and email address through the Navigate platform:
- Log in to the MyGRCC Portal (opens in a new window).
- Select the Navigate application tile.
- On the left-hand navigation menu, select the Resources link.
- Select the People tab to see your success team.
- Click on your Advisor's name to reveal their direct email address and office information.
