How do I search for EN 101 classes that do not require a corequisite (Non-A-Comp)?

Answer

To ensure you are enrolling in a standalone EN 101 section (one that does not require an accelerated corequisite), follow these steps to filter your search:

  1. Log into your MyGRCC account and select the Online Center application tile.
  2. Select the Add/Drop Classes tile.
  3. Select Class Search and Enroll and choose the appropriate Academic Term.
  4. Type EN 101 in the search bar and click the search arrow. Note: Do not click on the course results yet.
  5. Before selecting a specific course from the results list, look at the Filters menu on the left-hand side of the page.
  6. Scroll down the left-hand menu until you see the Class Attribute section. Check the box for EN 101 Only.

  7. You will see the total number of class options decrease. Clicking on EN 101 now will display only the versions that do not require a corequisite class.
