How can I update/add my Social Security Number (SSN) to my student record?

Answer

To add your social security number to your student record (for example, if you are seeking financial aid), please submit:

  • your signed social security card (for 17 and younger, it doesn't have to be signed) and
  • a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, or residency card).

Methods of delivery:

  • securely through your Online Center.  
    • Navigate to the Academic Records tile, click “Send files to Student Records.
  • email (either personal or GRCC account)
  • in-person, the first floor of the RJF Hall, Student Services.
