Information

All students are required to take the ALEKS assessment. Exception: if you’ve taken a college-level math course, within the last year, that fulfills the prerequisite for the class in which you would like to enroll.

ALEKS is a math assessment designed to ensure that the math class you enroll in will match and challenge your existing skill set. The assessment also indicates whether you can skip math courses that are not required for your degree.

To access your ALEKS account, log in to the MyGRCC portal, go to the Online Center tile, and select "Test Placement".

  • If you need to use our testing center, we accept both walk-ins and scheduled appointments. A photo ID is required to take the assessment.
