A Student ID number is a unique seven-digit number assigned to every student after their application has been processed.

Answer

• Once admitted to GRCC, an acceptance letter containing the student ID number is sent via email and physical mail to all new students.
• In some cases, a student may receive an email requesting they contact the Admissions office by phone at 616-234-3300 to obtain their number.
  • This most often occurs for returning students or when applications are processed after the semester start date.
