Return to Campus Office Setup

Description

Many faculty and staff shifted to work remotely due to COVID, bringing home office and loaner equipment. As GRCC begins to move into the next phase of the re-opening plan, allowing more faculty and staff to work on campus, the IT Desktop Support team may be requested to assist with collecting loaned equipment and setting offices back up.

We ask that if at all possible, office set up requests be scheduled in advanced. After selecting 'Request Service', select Schedule Office Set-Up (Return to Campus). Select the date and time in which you'd like a Desktop Technician to assist you, provide your contact information, which hardware that needs to be set-up, the office location, and any addition details pertaining to your request. Once requested you'll receive a calendar appointment for the set-up and a Desktop Technician will confirm your appointment via your scheduled ticket. 

If you require any changes to your appointment, please contact the IT Support Desk at 234-4357 and reference your ticket number. 

Additional Home Use Equipment

Due to capital budget constraints, Executive Leadership has decided that GRCC employees who transferred their work equipment home (monitors, mice, keyboards, docking stations, etc.), should return their equipment back to their office locations. Unfortunately, budget cannot support two sets of equipment for home and office. Please see below for low-cost options you can purchase for your home office (please note: home use equipment should not be purchased using department funds unless approved by your EBCO).

We understand that transitioning back to the office may create obstacles. It is our goal to make this transition as smooth as possible for you. The IT Support team is actively accepting appointments to assist with reconfiguring your office technology.
