Instructional Software Requests

The instructional software request period is currently closed. The process will reopen for Winter 2023 requests on October 27, 2022. If you have an emergency request, please use the Emergency Software Request form located on the right of this page.


Any software requests for classrooms, labs or multimedia stations fall under the Instructional Software (ISW) process. GRCC defines instructional software as any application put forth for student use in a classroom, lab or on a mobile device to facilitate classroom learning objectives. ISW requests must be received within the two open request periods, any requests received outside the defined request periods can not be guaranteed and will require executive and dean approval.

Key Features

  • Two request periods annually
    • Requests for Fall Semester - Last Thursday in January to the last Friday in May.
    • Requests for Summer Semesters - Requests are accepted throughout the Winter request period, and Fall request period up to the Friday before Spring Break.
    • Requests for Winter - Last Thursday in October to the last Friday in November.
  • Renewals managed by Information Technology
  • Request additional licensing, new software, software upgrades, location changes, or discontinue software.
