How do I request my official electronic transcripts?

Answer
Students with Access to the Online Center
- Log into MyGRCC.
- Click the Online Center tile.
- Click the Academic Records tile.
- Click Official Transcript-Electronic.
- Note: Pop-ups must be allowed in your browser for the redirect to work.
- You will be redirected to the Parchment website. If you have never set up a Parchment account, follow the registration steps below. If you already have an account, skip to step 19.
- Enter your email address (a personal email is recommended) and press Continue.
- Enter your legal name.
- Enter your date of birth.
- Select your highest level of education.
- Enter your cell phone number.
- Enter your mailing address.
- Validate your address if prompted by the orange alert text.
- Create a Password for your Parchment account.
- Select Create an Account.
- Indicate whether you are currently enrolled.
- Enter your first year of attendance at GRCC.
- Enter the year you graduated or left (or expect to leave) GRCC.
- Enter your GRCC Student ID Number.
- Select the Name used when you attended.
- Select Continue.
- Once your account is set up, you can proceed with the order steps below.
- Enter your login information if prompted.
- Select Order on the Transcript Type you wish to request.
- Either Search for an institution or select I’m sending to myself or another individual.
- If searching, select the correct destination name once it appears.
- If sending to an individual, enter the recipient's name and email address.
- Select a Purpose for Ordering.
- Select the Transcript Type.
- Upload any attachments required by the recipient (if applicable).
- Use your mouse or touchscreen to provide a digital signature.
- Type your full name in the confirmation fields.
- Select the Certification agreement checkbox.
- Select Continue.
- Review the order summary and select Continue to be redirected to the payment page.
- Enter your payment information.
- Parchment charges a processing fee of $6.50 per request.
- Click Submit My Order.
Students without Access to the Online Center
If you are unable to log in to the Online Center, please use the Parchment Order Form to request an electronic transcript. Note: You will be required to upload a signed authorization form if requesting via this method.
Information
Note: Due to updated regulations, GRCC no longer holds transcripts for past-due balances. Requests will be processed regardless of outstanding balances.
- If you have a hold that blocks the release of a transcript (such as a library hold), you can still submit a request. However, you will receive an email from Parchment stating the order is on hold until the issue is resolved. Please contact Office of the Registrar at (616) 234-4121 to resolve campus holds.
- If all entered information is accurate and there are no holds, requests are often processed within minutes.

- For order status or technical issues with the form, contact Parchment Customer Support at 1-888-662-0874. Hours: Monday–Thursday (7 AM – 8 PM) and Friday (7 AM – 6 PM).
