Timesheet submission not received by supervisor

How to troubleshoot an issue where an employee's timesheet has not been received by the supervisor.

Issue

An employee has submitted their timesheet, but their supervisor has not received it in Perceptive Content.

Resolution

Submitter not receiving timesheet confirmation email

  1. Verify the timesheet exists and what workflow queue it is in.
    1.  Log into eDocs.grcc.edu using their MyGRCC credentials
    2. Navigate to Documents > My HR Documents
    3. Find the timesheet for submitted pay date.
  2. Expand the Workflow queue column.  The document in a queue may say HR Approval or Payroll?
    • If the queue name says HR Exceptions, please submit a ticket
    • If the queue name is HR Time sheet Exceptions, contact the HR Payroll team at hrpayroll@grcc.edu or call (616) 234-4018. 
    • If it is in another queue, please wait for up to 15, and if the email has not been received, submit a ticket.

Supervisor not receiving timesheet/confirmation email

  1. Perceptive Content sends timesheet submission emails to supervisors only once every 24 hours
    • If you manage multiple employees, confirm that you have not processed any timesheets or leave of absences within the last 24 hours.
  2. Verify that a timesheet is in the Approval Queue
    1. Log into eDocs.grcc.edu using you MyGRCC credentials
    2. Navigate to Workflow > Human Resources - Approval > <<username>> HR Super/Assoc Dean Approval  (Stands for Supervisor/Associate Dean)
      • If this person is a Department Head, Dean or EBCO, they will also have a corresponding queue.
  3. If the timesheet was not recently processed and not in the the Approval Queue, please contact the HR Payroll team at hrpayroll@grcc.edu or call (616) 234-4018.
