Issue

An employee has submitted their timesheet, but their supervisor has not received the notification or the document in Perceptive Content.

Resolution

Submitter: Not Receiving Timesheet Confirmation Email

  1. Verify the timesheet status:
    1. Log into eDocs.grcc.edu (opens in a new window) using your MyGRCC credentials.
    2. Navigate to Documents > My HR Documents.
    3. Locate the timesheet for the specific pay date.
  2. Check the Workflow Queue column:
    • If the queue is HR Approval or Payroll, the document is processing normally.
    • If the queue is HR Exceptions, please submit a support ticket.
    • If the queue is HR Timesheet Exceptions, contact the HR Payroll team at hrpayroll@grcc.edu or call (616) 234-4018.
    • If it is in any other queue, wait 15 minutes. If no email arrives, submit a ticket.

Supervisor: Not Receiving Timesheet/Notification

  1. Notification Frequency: Perceptive Content sends consolidated submission emails to supervisors only once every 24 hours. If you have processed any timesheets or leave requests in the last 24 hours, you may not receive another alert until the next cycle.
  2. Manual Queue Verification:
    1. Log into eDocs.grcc.edu (opens in a new window) using your MyGRCC credentials.
    2. Navigate to Workflow > Human Resources - Approval > [Username] HR Super/Assoc Dean Approval.
      • Note: Department Heads, Deans, and EBCOs will have additional corresponding queues to check.
  3. Further Escalation: If the timesheet is not in your Approval Queue and has not been processed, contact HR Payroll at hrpayroll@grcc.edu or (616) 234-4018.
