Issue
Scanning a document and sending it to an email address using the Ricoh printers.

Resolution
1. Scan and Send to Your GRCC Email
- Load Document: Place your document into the automatic document feeder (face up) or on the flatbed scanner glass (face down).
- Log In: Tap or swipe your RaiderCard on the card reader.
- Alternative: Log in via the touch screen using your Campus Network Login.
- Select Scan: Tap the Scan icon on the home screen.
- Select Account: Choose your personal or shared department account.
- Configure: Edit the subject, file name, and scan settings (resolution, color mode) as desired.
- Scan: Tap Start on the screen.
- Additional Pages: The printer will prompt you to press the physical Start button to scan more pages or Finish if you are done.
- Complete: Once finished, tap Send.
Note: If a multi-page scan does not arrive in your inbox, it may be due to file size restrictions. Follow the "Alternate Email" process below, as it offers "Compact PDF" and resolution settings to reduce file size.
2. Scan and Send to an Alternate Email
- Load Document: Load your document into the feeder or onto the flatbed.
- Log In: Tap your RaiderCard or enter your credentials.
- Device Functions: Tap the Device Functions button.
- Select Account: Choose the appropriate personal or shared account.
- Open Email Tool: Tap Scan/Fax or Scan to E-mail.
- Manual Entry: Choose Direct Input from the left-hand navigation panel.
- Input Email: Tap Email and type the full destination email address.
- Finish: Tap OK and then press the physical Start button to send.
