Enabling Respondus Lockdown Browser on a WebAssign Assignment

GRCC's Installation of Respondus Lockdown Browser can now be used with WebAssign

Environment

• Cengage WebAssign
• Respondus Lockdown Browser

Process

Require Respondus Monitor® for high-stakes assignments. Respondus Monitor records students as they take the assignment and flags recordings that might contain suspicious activity. The Respondus Monitor license must be set to School/Institution.

1. Schedule the assignment, if you have not already done so.
2. Open the Schedule page and navigate to the assignment.
   1. Open the My Classes page.
   2. Click Class Schedule under Class Tools.
   3. Click a scheduled assignment in the Assignments list to view the week for which it is scheduled.
3. Beside the assignment, click Edit Restrictions.
4. On the Edit Restrictions page,
   1. Select Respondus Monitor.
   2. This should automatically select LockDown Browser.
   3. A link to the Respondus Monitor Dashboard is added to the assignment.
5. Select if students can access an in-browser calculator

Optional: To edit Respondus Monitor settings, click Respondus Monitor Dashboard.
