How do I publish a course in Canvas?

Information

Courses that come from an integration and that are meant to be student facing should be published automatically. 

Answer

Publish in Dashboard

1. Locate the Unpublished Courses section in the Dashboard.
2. Find the course you want to publish and click the Publish button.

Publish in Course

1. In Global Navigation, click the Courses link, then select All Courses.
2. Your courses will be organized by published courses and unpublished courses.
3. To open an unpublished course, click the name of the course.
4. To publish your course, click the Course Status toggle/button in the sidebar on the right side of the page.
5. Then click the Publish button.
