Body

Plan, direct, develop and coordinate non-credit healthcare projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The Project Manager/Developer will act as an employer liaison, healthcare trainer leader and student resource for healthcare programs to ensure health programs effectiveness, program outcomes, continuous review, revision, planning and development, as assigned by the, Dean of Workforce Training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Consults with leadership and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources 

  • Works with customers, community partners, and college departments or college leadership to gather outcome requirements and schedule delivery dates

  • Develops project plans: specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources (list essential job functions)

  • Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project. Including writing and submitting reports related to non-credit health program accreditation, IACET accreditation, CEUs and to ensure compliance with those standards

  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks in partnership with Non-credit leadership team

  • Coordinates recruitment or assignment of healthcare trainers including assignment of duties, professional development, responsibilities, and scope of authority 

  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget

  • Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation in consultation with non-credit leadership team

  • Reviews student complaints and works with the Executive Director of Workforce Training to resolve 

  • Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues

  • Confers with project personnel and customers to provide technical advice and resolve problems

  • Develops business processes that ensure developed application meets all program and project requirements

  • Develops and maintains technical and project documentation. Coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of program data; develops, writes, and presents comprehensive (statistical and narrative) program reports

  • Regular attendance during normal scheduled hours is required. Being present is essential for serving customers and performing the essential functions of this position

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Educational Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in any healthcare field, workforce development, education or social work

  • Certificate or credential in an allied health field preferred

Work Experience

  • 3-5 years experience working in healthcare, education or workforce development

Working Conditions

  • GRCC will comply with any mandated health and safety requirements. Compliance information is available on our policies website

  • Some schedule flexibility is needed to attend events or activities.  Regular attendance during normal scheduled hours 80% of the time. There is the opportunity for some schedule flexibility to meet work needs
