Answer


Export Existing Course

  1. Go to the course you intend to export.
  2. In the Course Management menu, find the Control Panel.
  3. Under Packages and Utilities, click on Export/Archive Course.
  4. On the Export/Archive Course page, click Export Package.
  5. Under Select Course Materials, choose which materials you wish to export or click Select All
  6. Click Submit

Download Course Package 

  1. You will receive an email from Blackboard when the course export is complete.
  2. Go back to the Export/Archive Course page and click Refresh.
  3. The export .zip file will appear under Packages Created Manually.
  4. Click the export file hyperlink and save it to your computer.

Import Course Package to Canvas

  1. Open the Canvas course where you want to import the content. 
  2. Click Settings in the course navigation menu.
  3. Click Import Course Content on the right side.
  4. For Select Content Type, select Blackboard 6/7/8/9 Ultra export .zip file from the dropdown menu.
  5. Click browse your files and upload the Blackboard export .zip file you saved earlier.
  6. Select All Content (or Select Specific Content if you only want certain materials).
  7. Click Import.
