Will Zoom Meetings replace Google Meet?

No.

While it will be handy to use Zoom meetings (and chat) in conjunction with Zoom phone, this is not required.  You may continue to use either one.  All Zoom phone users get the free version of Zoom Meetings allows for meetings up to 40 minutes in length.  If you already have a licensed version of Zoom Meetings that allows for longer meetings, this will not change.
