Enabling third party cookies in your web browser to troubleshoot issues with Blackboard SafeAssign, MyMathLab, Smarter Protector, & Blackboard LTI Panopto as well as other learning tools.

  • Safari

 

Information

By default, your browser should already be set to accept third-party cookies.

 

Resolution

Edge

  1. Open Edge
  2. Click the menu icon 
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Cookies and site permissions
  5. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data
  6. Make sure Block third-party cookies is not selected

 

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click the menu icon  and choose Settings.
  3. Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
  4. Click Cookies and site data.
  5. Make sure Block third-party cookies is unchecked.

 

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click the menu button  and choose Options.
  3. Select the Privacy and Security.
  4. Under Enhanced Tracking and Protection choose the custom option and make sure the Cookies Option is unchecked

 

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Explorer
  2. Click the settings icon  in the top right.
  3. Select Internet Options from the drop down menu.
  4. Click the Privacy tab.
  5. Under Settings, click Advanced.
  6. Make sure Third-party Cookies is set to Accept

 

Safari

  1. Open Safari
  2. Click on Safari
  3. Click Preferences
  4. Click Privacy
  5. Select any of the following:
    • Deselect “Block all cookies.”
      • Websites, third parties, and advertisers can store cookies and other data on your Mac.
