Lockdown Browser Screencastify Error

Issue

When launching Lockdown Browser an error message detecting Screencastify running on Chrome came up.

Environment

  • Lockdown Browser
  • Mac OS
  • Chrome

Resolution

Any one or combination of the following troubleshooting steps may help resolve the issue:

  • Remove Screencastify from Chrome Extensions
  • Delete Cached Google Chrome data
  • Delete other Chrome Profiles
  • Uninstall and Reinstall Google Chrome
  • Uninstall and Reinstall Lockdown Browser
  • Restart computer
