Setup a Panopto Quiz

Instructions on how to set up a Panopto Quiz in Blackboard

Environment

• Blackboard
• Panopto

Process

Verify Tool is Turned On 

1. Within the course, navigate to Course Management in the bottom left.
2. Click Customization.
3. Click Tool Availability.
4. Scroll down and verify that Panopto Quizzing Tool is checked. 
   • There should be a on the very far right. 

Adding the Quiz

1. Open the course in which you would like to embed the LTI tool, and select Content. From the Build Content drop-down menu at the top of the page, select Panopto Quiz. 
2. Add the title, description, color, and/or attachments (if applicable) 
3. Under Grading, select evaluation to Yes
4. Enter the points possible, due date, visible to Students settings, and due date.

Enter all other applicable options and click Submit at the bottom. 

Embed the Video

1. Select the quiz you just created as an instructor.
2. You will be redirected through the LTI interface to the Panopto Embedded Uploader control to pick your session. You will start in the folder for the course you are in but you can use the drop-down to select any folder
3. Once you have selected the video select Insert. 
4. Once you have selected it, you will be redirected to an embedded interactive viewer window.
