How to add opinion based questions to a test in Blackboard.

 

Environment

Resolution

  1. Locate the desired test within the course. 
  2. Click Create Question at the top left of the Test Canvas page. 
  3. From the menu, choose Create/Edit Opinion Scale/Likert Question.
  4. Fill in the Question Title and Question Text boxes.
  5. In the Options section, choose from the options as needed. 
  6. Under Answers, select the Number of Answers from the menu or leave the default at 6.
    • Click Remove to delete an answer box.
  7. Choose the correct answer and modify any answer text as needed. 
  8. Optionally, type feedback for correct and incorrect answers.
  9. Select Submit and Create Another or Submit to add the question to the test.
